With over 15 years of experience in HIV prevention, PrEP advocacy, and health equity, Shannon brings both academic rigor and deep community trust to every space she enters. Her career spans clinical settings, government agencies, academic institutions, and grassroots organizing — always centered on the most marginalized.

As founder and CEO of Nu Transgender Movement, Inc., Shannon leads a nonprofit that provides identity-document assistance, gender-affirming health navigation, and community support across Texas and New York. She is a sought-after speaker, trainer, and consultant trusted by healthcare systems, law enforcement, and advocacy organizations nationwide.
